A relaxed pub environment suitable for families, couples and singles. Delicious food in generous portions at affordable prices, fantastic service and the kitchen is prepared to cater to certain dietary needs. Our family had an outstanding time.

A friend and I go there once a month. Duran is young and has great potential. He knows how to interact with the customers and responds quickly to anything negative. The other staff members are also lovely. The atmosphere, decor, service is %.

I decided to check out the Pothole & Donkey based on a recommendation, and I must say, it did not disappoint. I couldn't resist ordering my all-time favourite, a caramel latté, and it was so delicious that I ended up having two! The team there was incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. Plus, I was able to get some work done while enjoying my coffee.

Nice restaurant with a big variety menu to choose from. Food and warm drinks are tasty. Chai latte was very nice. Their cappuccino is the best.

Decent place. Delicious food and good service. This place is a nice family restaurant that also serves buffet since it’s attached to a hotel. Dessert is fresh and main course was rich in flavour.

It was my first time in Grahamstown and we wanted to try this place to bad as the first place to get food. The service was amazing, the atmosphere, the lighting lastly, the FOOOOOOOOD. We had burgers and pizzas. I had to steal the fries. Such thick cut potatoes that are soft inside and well seasoned outside. And my pizza... Was so stretchy with cheese straight from the oven . Had a virgin cranberry (I forgot the drink) but it was so refreshing. I could really do again with another visit to this place when I come to Makhanda .

A very nice and quiet atmosphere. Customer service was awesome. There is a kid's area for children to have fun and play some games. We pre-ordered our menu a day before and it exceeded our expectation. I must confess this is the first restaurant I will visit that serves well-done steak. It's indeed a great place to be
